They know it is their responsibility to ensure the pet is secure and knows that they are fully loved always.

Who we are

I am Pakee, meet my wife Grace, sons Martus and Ezra and daughter Zion.

I am a hands on dog owner who had grown up with dogs from as early as I could remember and even as a kid I had always loved taking care of them. As a grown up I had my own dogs, golden and Labrador retrievers who slept on my bed and for my Labrador retriever who I had for 11 years, I gave him every single bath he had from the day I picked him up to his last. They both breathed their last breaths in my arms and it was very heart crushing. Every single one of the 10 dogs that lived all their lives at home brought terrible sadness when they passed away.

I know they live short lives compared to us and I would always do my best to give them love every single day. As I wrote on the poem for my Jesse when he departed, "I know that love is more than words and emotions, and you know that too because true love surrounded you all the days of your life. You had more kisses than days, and the longest trip I took without you lasted four days and then I made sure I made up for the missed kisses for you."

Today we have a Golden Retriever named Obi born in March 2022. It is a major challenge and fun at the same time training and looking after this super playful fur baby who is only 2 years younger than Zion and who loves to play and break his boundaries every now and then.
